Based on a plainsong dating back to the 15th century which we are familiar with as O Come, O Come Emmanuel, this arrangement incorporates the free form of the original plainsong and adds colorful harmonies and counter-melodies, making it a thoughtful and elegant addition to the season of expectation and celebration.
